The Algoma Arts Fall Festival Association is pleased to announce the 2019 Algoma Fall Festival!

This year the Algoma Fall Festival will be bringing you “an amazing line-up for audiences to see and hear in October” with “great music, free performance of dance, food, laughter and entertaining acts from Canadian icons including Carole Pope, Chef Anna Olson and Women Fully Clothed and the fast rising Northern stars The Jerry Cans.

 

The 47th season of scheduled events include;

October 4th – October 26th –  Wander In the World of Norval Morriesseau which will be presented in partnership with the Art Gallery of Algoma.

October 4th Choir! Choir Choir this fun event will turn their audience into a choir!

October 8thBears, Stars and Trees & Omen Dancing the Seven Grandfather Teachings is a dance performance free of charge for the community.

October 9thThe Jerry Cans will bring their unique mix of Inuktitut alt-country, throat singing, and reggae to the The Machine Shop

October 11th – you can indulge in your love for chocolate and laughter as Chef Anna Olson and Women Fully Clothed teach each other their craft.

October 18th – Spend An Evening with Carole Pope as she performs her classics and new music at the Sault Community Theatre Centre.

October 24th – October 26th – The festival will feature 3 performances to celebrate Celtic in Algoma with the Celtic sounds of Cape Breton (Oct. 24th) with Andrea Beaton, Troy MacGillivray and Wendy MacIsaac, sounds of Quebec with De Temps Antan (Oct. 25th) and sounds of the West with The Fretless (Oct. 26th).
