OPP news release…
(MUNICIPALITY OF HURON SHORES, ON)- On June 22, 2020, shortly before 1:00 p.m., members from the East Algoma Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a break and enter that occurred sometime between Saturday June 20, 2020 and Monday June 22, 2020, at a property in the Municipality of Huron Shores.

Investigation determined forced entry was made through porch doors. Once inside the residence the suspect(s) entered the garage through a connected man door.

Description and value of property stolen:

” 2009 green Yamaha Grizzly ATV with a black/red Grizzly insignia-value $9450.
” 2011 green Yamaha Grizzly ATV with a blue/red Grizzly insignia-value $10800.

Both ATVs have winches, VERY LOW mileage, axe holders with axes, chains with chain bolts in the storage compartments. Bungee’s attached with steel slings (to tie around a tree if you get stuck) and Pillar Manufacturing Reflective decals on the gas tanks.

” 5 HP Briggs and Stratton outboard motor with model number AA0101000101. Possibly also Type 254427-4028-01 that has a value of $2000.

Black in color, white choke lever is broken, the clamp that holds the motor to the boat, left hand side looking at the motor there is a washer that is broken. The outside cover of the pull chain has wear along the pull line (attached photo is similar to the outboard motor that was stolen).
