Today is WORLD RADIO DAY!  It’s over 100 years old, and yet radio remains the most popular medium for information, education and social change. Notably, radio represents a focal point for community life, accessible even in the most remote locations. To mark this day, we are celebrating with YOU, our listeners! Thank you for continuing to listen and support #1 for Country.

The truth of it is that every singer out there with songs on the radio is raising the next generation, so make your words count.
– Taylor Swift
I listen to my old records and I think, ‘How did I ever get on the radio?’ -Dolly Parton
That was the big thing when I was growing up, singing on the radio. The extent of my dream was to sing on the radio station in Memphis. Even when I got out of the Air Force in 1954, I came right back to Memphis and started knocking on doors at the radio station. – Johnny Cash
