The Sault PUC says there are now less than 50 of its customers that remain without power in connection with a massive outage that impacted close to 7 thousand on Monday in connection with the heavy snowfall and ice storm.
Their crews worked through the night to restore power to Marshall Drive and Red Rock Area.
The line crews continue to work in the Prince Lake Area and on individual outages within the city.

At last report, over 5-thousand property owners in Michigan’s Eastern Upper Peninsula remained without power.
Cloverland Electric Cooperative says the highest concentration of outages remains in Chippewa County with more than 43-hundred members without power.
It has just been announced, that Sault Area Public Schools in Sault, Michigan which was closed today will be closed for a 2nd straight day tomorrow.
