The idea of introducing fan friendly pricing at the concession stands for Greyhounds games next season will be reviewed by city staff.
Council voted last night for the review in a motion that was brought forward by ward 3 councillor Matthew Shoemaker and Ward one’s Paul Christian.
The motion talks about the trend in major league sports to go with fan friendly pricing on the most popular menu items as a way to generate even higher revenues.
The GFL Memorial Gardens operates at at a loss overall but food services on their own is profitable.
The request calls on staff to report back to council following the review.
