Soo Greyhounds General Manager Kyle Raftis announced this afternoon another commitment to the Program as JAROMIR PYTLIK will be joining the club for the remainder of the 2018-19 season.
“Jaromir is a world-class player that has chosen to come to the Soo as he continues to work towards his goal of becoming a high NHL draft pick for the 2020. We are very fortunate to add a player of this calibre at this time of the season” began Raftis.
“We are very excited to get him adjusted to our Program, Sault Ste. Marie and the day-to-day routines of being a Greyhound and we look forward to partnering in his on and off ice develop.”
Originally selected in the 2nd Round of the 2018 CHL Import Draft by the Greyhounds, Pytlik has spent most of this season with HC Vitkovice of the Czech League.
Internationally, Jaromir has represented his country in multiple tournaments.
This year he participated at U18 Hlinka Gretzky Cup, where the 6.02, 192-lb centreman notched 2 goals and 5 assists (7 points) in 11 games played while he also competed in pre-tournament games at the U20 level.
Pytlik is expected to make his Greyhounds debut this Friday, January 11th when the team hosts the Windsor Spitfires.
