Sault Ste. Marie, ON (2018 05 17) During the month of May, museums across Ontario celebrate Museum Month with programs, events and special exhibits. May 18 is dedicated to International Museum Day and to celebrate the Ermatinger Clergue National Historic Site (ECNHS) in partnership with the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library is launching the Ermatinger Engagement Pass available year round.
The Ermatinger Engagement Pass grants free admission to the ECNHS and can be checked out using a library membership at both the Centennial and Korah Branch Library. The Pass is available beginning May 18 and will be valid for the library membership holder and 4 guests. Two admission passes are available for check out at both the Centennial Library and the Korah Branch Library. Passes cannot be renewed for continual use or used when special event fees apply.
This partnership provides a unique opportunity for Library goers to use their membership to borrow the admission pass and visit the Ermatinger Museum Site for free,¨ says Kathy Fisher, Curator of the ECNHS. If you are new to the Sault, have never visited the Ermatinger Museum Site or are looking for something to do on a school Professional Development Day or holiday, sign out the admission pass and check out all the great things the Site has to offer.¨
