a fine Friday

Looks like we made it through a tough week friends! Happy TGIF!

Come pick up tickets that are FREE, to the ‘Stories and Songs Show’ Friday October 20th at 9pm, at the Water Tower Inn Pub, featuring Jamie Warren, Patricia Conroy and Charlie Major. You won’t want to miss all the tunes and stories behind the songs!

A rainy Saturday this Thanksgiving Long Weekend, but Sunday and Holiday Monday will get to near 20 and feel warmer than that with the Humidex.

Here are the stories of entertainers I will mention on the show today!::

Big & Rich star John Rich tells Billboard magazine that his band has no plans to quit performing because of the Vegas massacre. ”You still have to walk out and do your shows, or do whatever it is that you have to do, but you’re still keeping an eye out at the same time. How could you look at it any different at this point? I think everyone will have an eye out now, even the fans. You know how country-music fans and country-music singers are so tight-knit. They’re like our families out there: we hang out with them, we talk to them, have a good time with them. It’s not like we’re some untouchable thing out there onstage; it’s the absolute reverse of that.”

Rolling Stone claims Carrie Underwood is releasing a live concert film called ”Carrie Underwood: The Storyteller Tour – Stories in the Round, Live from Madison Square Garden”. It will be out on November 17th.

ESPN claims Brad Paisley is going to be the Grand Marshal of the Bank of America 500 Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday. Carly Pearce is going to sing the National Anthem before the race

Country Music Tattle Tale claims Thomas Rhett’s wife Lauren has started her own sunglass line with Diff Eyewear. Proceeds will benefit 147 million orphans in Uganda.

Rascal Flatts tells Sounds like Nashville that they plan to continue performing their residency shows in Vegas. “Our hearts are in Vegas, and we will perform our shows there in honor of the victims. Our hope is to bring some light to such a dark time and offer any sort of healing we can through music. We’re donating to the Las Vegas Victim’s Fund, and encourage anyone who is able to do the same. We are all in this together.”

Have a great Thanksgiving weekend with family and friends.!!
