Tull Dancer  Supplied by Studio Dance Arts…
An extraordinary eleven-year-old Katelyn Tull, who started dancing at Studio Dance Arts
in 2011, has been accepted into Canada’s National Ballet School.
Daughter to Dr. Russell and Nicole Tull, Katelyn traveled to Toronto in February to
audition for the National Ballet of Canada during their nation wide tour.
She was successful in claiming a spot in the organization’s upcoming four week Summer
Program commencing in July. For Katelyn, the opportunity is not new but her second
year to successfully audition for entrance into this program as she attended last July in
2015.
During this time, Katelyn will enter into a second audition stage in the hopes of obtaining
full-time program acceptance.
Executive Director of Studio Dance Arts, Richard Kim, believes this opportunity will be
exceptional for the young dancer, “A second summer training at NBS will be fantastic for
Katelyn. Students always return after a program like this with such improvement in
technique and strength.”
In addition to her successful audition, Katelyn’s most recent accomplishment includes the
passing of her Graded Ballet Exam through the Canadian Dance Teachers Association.
Her instructors, Sherry Walsh and Tania Castellani-Greco are extremely proud of her
efforts.
