City Police were called regarding a number of breakins over the weekend – to a home in the 300 block of Northland Road where jewellery, change and a Playstation with three controllers were stolen … to a home in the 600 block of Farwell Terrace where entry was not gained but a window was damaged. Around 4:30 yesterday morning a resident of Parkshore Court awoke to a loud bang – and found an intruder standing in the front entrance – apparently looking for someone else.  He was asked to leave and did so without further incident.  He’s described as being a white male, in his 20s, about 5 feet 10, medium build with dark shaggy hair – wearing jeans a dark hoodie. Saturday night Police stopped a male riding a bicycle – carrying a chain saw – near Tancred Street and found he was wanted on an outstanding warrant. And early yesterday morning Police were called to a Southwood Drive residence where a 22 year old male was arrested for breach of an undertaking, for drinking alcohol.
