CatholicBoardFor the third time in four years, a student from the Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board has been named to the Minister’s Student Advisory Council.  St. Theresa Catholic Elementary Grade 8 student Jaydon Deluca follows fellow St. Theresa student Sarah Laurin in being named to the group.  The MSAC meets twice during each term, with virtual council meetings taking place throughout the school year.  Members give student perspectives on educational issues and policies at those meetings.  As many as 600 applications from across the province are received annually — making a selection from the same school two years in a row quite rare.  Deluca has already participated at the council’s first meeting last week in Toronto.
