SSMPSCity Police were called to a local restaurant yesterday.  The caller mentioned to police that a female driver was passed out behind the wheel of her car in the drive thru lane.  The vehicle had pulled away before police arrived.  Police later spotted the car on Second Line West — the vehicle eventually stopped on Second Line near the railway tracks.  According to police, the driver appeared to be intoxicated and was arrested.  22 year old Bailly Hiebert-Long of Wawa was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and consuming over the legal limit.

Police also charged 42 year old Murray Lacrosse on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear for fingerprints after he turned himself in yesterday.  Lacrosse is scheduled to appear in court on May 11th.  About a half dozen other arrests were made by police on Friday including domestic-related charges and charges against the Liquor Licence Act.
