The price of crude was up a dollar yesterday to $51 a barrel … despite the glut of oil on the world market right now … but that’s not stopping Big Oil from grabbing a bigger piece of the pie.   Gas prices around town jumped a nickel to $1.12 a litre overnight … that’s a 20 cent a gallon spike.   Sudbury is even worse at $1.13, Toronto has climbed just above a dollar a litre.   In Sault, Michigan gas is going for 2-47 a galon … about 84 cents a litre.
