Thanks so much to Sonny Spina for keeping us I the loop for the upcoming, ‘Pedals for Possibilities!’
Sonny begins his 283 kilometer ride in WAWA at 4am tomorrow morning.( Wednesday- Day One)
He rides along the route to The Canadian Carver on Hwy 17, where a buddy joins in and they travel to the Host, Water Tower Inn here in the Sault!
Travelling then , to Echo Bay and on to Elliot Lake! This is all tomorrow , Wednesday, Day one of the trip.

On Thursday, it’s more than 80 kms more for Sonny and we join in for 40kms or less.
If You plan on joining in, meet at St Mary’s College, Second line, with a planned departure time of 9:50!
If 40 kms is far to many, you can register at a Table provided at the 11 kilo mark, at Greenwood Public School approx. 10:30, or at Registration Table #3, at the 19kms mark, at Korah Collegiate and VS approx. . 11:10.
Travelling on to the FINISH LINE at the 40 km Mark approx. 12:30pm, at the Station Mall Parking Lot (across from the Delta Hotel!)
I see on the route map that we will be riding past many schools along the way, which is super fun.
Congrats to all the sponsors and to Sonny himself, for raising an astounding number of dollars for the United Way Campaign.
I asked Spina when he will sleep and he told me, ‘On Friday the 18th this week, when all is over and done!
He sure deserves a rest after so much intense training and planning.
You can still donate and make a pledge at the Pedals Web site. Please and thank you for helping this great cause!
