OLGThis week is Problem Gambling Prevention Week in Ontario.  Casino Sault Ste. Marie is where information sessions on Problem Gambling will take place.  The first of four sessions are scheduled to take place on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. — with subsequent info sessions happening on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Heather Ly from the Responsible Gambling Council will offer in-depth knowledge about early warning signs of a gambling problem and what people can do to protect themselves and those they care about.  According to the Responsible Gambling Council, three and a half percent of Ontarians have a moderate to severe gambling problem.  This translates an estimated 32 hundred adults in Algoma District are negatively impacted.
